The Jacob Lake Inn Gift Shop is one of the finest of its kind in the Southwest. The Bowman/Rich family has been trading with local artisans for over 100 years and has gained a reputation for their extensive inventory of fine, authentic Southwestern Indian Arts including weaving's, jewelry, pottery, baskets, Katsina Dolls, Sandpaintings, sculpture, and carving. The Jacob Lake Inn Gift Shop carries work from many nationally renowned artists and on any given day you may see Lawrence Namoki, Leo Yazzie, Richard Begay, or Marilyn Scott selling their wares. Along with our excellent merchandise, we consider it our privilege to provide our clients with factual and accurate information about each item we sell. This includes everything from the process and history of Navajo weaving, Pueblo pottery, and Native American jewelry. We hope we can inspire you and create both appreciation and curiosity about the unique gifts we offer. Country Store
Our Country Store provides the basics and a number of comforts for your vacation in Canyon Country. We are open all day from the time the lodge opens until it closes at 9:00pm. We carry general toiletries, non-prescription medications, wine, beer, groceries, snacks, and drinks. Before you leave, however, be sure to try our world famous homemade cookies and fudge. The Jacob Lake Inn Bakery bakes eleven different varieties of cookie daily, all from family recipes. We have the classic Chocolate chip and own specialty cookies such as the Chocolate Parfait, Lemon Zucchini, German Chocolate, and Cookie-ina-cloud. Be sure to try them all! The bakery also features fresh baked bread, homemade sandwiches, pies, muffins, turnovers, and brownies. Try one of our milk shakes, malts, or sundaes. Tour buses and locals come from miles around to sample our extra-thick shakes. These shakes stand an inch above the lip of the cup and can't be sucked through a straw. All of these desserts are available at the Cafe Counter and in the Dining Room. from l0:00 am to 8:00pm. Service StationThe Jacob Lake Service Station is open daily. This full service gas station provides gasoline pumps, basic car maintenance, oil changes, tire repairs (or sales), and crushed or block ice. Our attendants are happy to wash your windshields, check your oil and tire pressure levels, as well as answer any questions you may have about the area.
