Delicious Food near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon

Jacob Lake Inn, the Gateway to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon

Jacob Lake Inn is located around 40 miles from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon at the junction of Highway 89-A and Highway 67.  So if you are hungry, we suggest stopping by for a bite to eat before you head to the canyon or on your way out. Once you’ve tasted the cookies and other food, you won’t need much convincing. We’re  famous for our food, our bakery, and our delicious Above-the-North-Rim shakes.

Enjoy delicious meals and great service in the comfortable, inviting atmosphere of our lunch counter and Dining Room. The walls of the dining room serve as a gallery for our collection of museum quality Navajo weaving’s, sandpaintings, fine art, framed prints of local and renowned artists, and beautiful photography of the Grand Canyon and surrounding natural wonders. Be sure to ask your server about the different art pieces on the wall or browse the information books found at each table.

Our Famous Bakery

People love our baked goods, and people always ask us why they taste so good. Baking fresh breads, pies, rolls, and cakes is a tradition from our earliest days, all part of country life when Jacob Lake Inn began in 1923. We simply kept on baking from scratch when the world went to industrial products.

Ice Cream and Shakes

Try one of our milk shakes, malts, or sundaes. Tour buses and locals come from miles around to sample our extra-thick shakes. These shakes stand an inch above the lip of the cup and can’t be sucked through a straw. All of these desserts are available at the Cafe Counter and in the Dining Room. from l0:00 am to 8:00pm.
