Jacob Lake Inn is located near some of the world’s most beautiful scenery. If you love photography, you’ve come to the right place. Professional photographer Matt Rich teaches classes and leads photography excursions to the North Rim.

Mountain Biking Trails

From the Kaibab Plateau, you have a breathtaking view of the wide and lonesome Arizona Strip. Mt. Trumbull, Mt. Logan, and the Uinkarets stand marooned on its broad desert tablelands.The southern edge of the Strip is fractured and eaten away by the Grand Canyon.

GATEWAY TOURS

Gateway tours offers professionally guided tours of the North Rim of the Grand Canyon as well as a shuttle service from St. George and Las Vegas to Jacob Lake and from Jacob Lake to the North Rim. ​

Kaibab Hunting

The Kaibab National Forest has some of the best hunting in Coconino County. The forest is home to mule deer, elk, wild turkey, and chukar partridge, which all can be hunted during their official hunting seasons.
