Jacob Lake Inn is located 45 miles from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon at the junction of Highway 67 and Highway 89 A. Highway 67 is the only way to or from the North Rim. So, once you’ve seen the Canyon, you have to drive right back to Jacob Lake Inn in order to get to anywhere else you’d like to go. Aside from our incredible location, our comfortable lodging, beautiful mountain scenery, Native American art, delicious food, and famous bakery bring thousands of visitors to Jacob Lake every year.

Our hotel rests in the ponderosa pines of the North Kaibab Forest, with a view down a forest slope onto a beautiful wooded hillside. There are forest view and garden view rooms, both on the ground floor and upper floor. The rustic furnishings represent the Inn’s Southwestern heritage. Parking is located next to our hotel complex.

To serve our customers who want easy packing and unpacking so they can get on to the North Rim or their next adventure, Jacob Lake Inn has motel rooms available. These rooms can be accessed from the outside, with extremely close parking for easy packing and unpacking. Each room contains rustic furniture and decor, heating and air conditioning, and a shower. Pets are allowed in our motel rooms for an additional fee of $45.

Jacob Lake Inn’s rustic cabins come in a variety of bed sizes and occupancies, including family units with two queen beds and a double bed. Built in the midst of hundred year old pines, these rustic and historic cabins have seen generations of honeymooners, hunters, families, and friends. Many customers like our cabins because they offer a quiet place to relax and escape the noise and distractions of modern life. The cabin area is built around a beautiful gazebo and a stone waterfall, which has become a destination place for birdwatchers and photographers. It is beautifully landscaped with wildflowers, native grasses, shrubs, and trees. Pets are allowed in our cabins for an additional fee of $35.

  • Includes a comfortable ponderosa pine deck to sit on and enjoy the fresh mountain air

  • Cabins do not have air conditioners because the mountain air cools to around 65 degrees on summer nights, but fans are available upon request
